What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you type: your name, phone number, email address (optional), neighborhood or cross streets (optional), and your description of the problem.
To limit spam, the website records a one-way scrambled code derived from your internet (IP) address with each message. It isn't stored as your actual IP address and is used only to block repeated rapid submissions.
If you call or email us, we receive whatever you share in that call or email, along with your phone number or email address.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply, discuss your lock problem, confirm whether your address is in our service area, and arrange service if you ask for it. We don't use form submissions for newsletters or marketing mailings.
How messages reach us
Form messages are stored in the website's secure database, where 917 Locksmith reviews them. Messages sent through the form are not answered instantly — for anything urgent, call +1 (917) 277-2217.
Service providers
Like most websites, this one relies on outside providers that process data on our behalf:
- Website hosting and database — the site and stored form messages are hosted by Lovable and its infrastructure providers.
- Web fonts — the site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
- Email — if you email us, your message is handled by our email provider.
The service-area map is drawn by the site itself and doesn't load a third-party map service.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may collect basic visit statistics and technical logs needed to operate and secure the site.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep form messages for as long as needed to respond and handle any resulting service. You can ask us to delete a message you sent by emailing info@917locksmith.services.
Security
Form messages are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that isn't publicly readable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't include sensitive details such as alarm codes or door access codes in a message.
Privacy requests
To ask what information we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion, email info@917locksmith.services.
