Buildings and entrances
- Apartment buildings and condos
- Mixed-use properties
- Office and commercial buildings
- Gated entrances and shared lobbies
For selected areas of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. Shared-entrance work requires approval from the owner, board or building management. Equipment is chosen for the property’s doors, network and access needs.
System features
- Video door phones that call residents' indoor monitors or, where configured, the Akuvox SmartPlus app
- Door release by PIN, RF card, mobile app and, on supported models, face recognition
- Temporary visitor access such as QR or PIN codes, depending on configuration
- Indoor monitors and access-control readers from the same product family
- Cloud management of devices, residents and access through Akuvox SmartPlus, depending on the selected configuration
Features depend on the selected model, software plan and configuration.
A complete solution for your property
- Site assessment of the entrances, doors, frames, wiring and power
- System planning: which entrances, readers and devices the property needs
- Wiring and power for the intercom, readers and controllers
- Installation of the video intercom, readers and controllers
- Compatible door locking hardware such as electric strikes or magnetic locks
- Configuration of users, access schedules and the management software
- Testing every entry and release
- Handover and walkthrough for the owner or manager
Installation and setup are performed by installers certified for the selected system. The written proposal confirms the equipment, wiring and power requirements, door hardware and software configuration before work starts.
Accounts, software and project terms
Remote app calling and cloud management run through Akuvox SmartPlus, which may require a paid subscription depending on the selected configuration and features. Not every feature is included in every setup; any plan and its terms come from Akuvox or its distributor and are listed separately in the proposal.
